الأشواك الظهرية (المجموع) : 9; الأشعة الظهرية الناعمة (المجموع) : 15 - 16; شوكة شرجية: 3; أشعه شرجية لينه: 9 - 10; فقرات: 25. Head and body deep bluish-green to steep-blue with irregular faint dark grey spots dorsally, silvery white below. Pectorals grey, other fins translucent to grey. Juveniles with dark margin on anal fin. Length of upper lobe of caudal fin > 30% SL (Ref. 9701).
