This species is placed in the genus Lucigadus in Eschmeyer (CofF ver. Mar. 2011: Ref. 86697). The genus Macruroplus is considered is synonym of Nezumia in Eschmeyer (CofF ver. Mar. 2011: Ref. 86697). Please send references, or more studies are needed.
