পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ) : 0; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ) : 12 - 15; পায়ূ কাঁটা : 0; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 15 - 19; কশেরুকা : 33 - 36. 10-13 AO photophores; 7.5-8 tooth patches on the lower limb of the second gill arch; 32-34 lateral line organs (Ref. 36121). Pectoral fin rays pointing directly downward in larger specimens; rays progressively thicker, stiffer, and relatively shorter in larger specimens but remnants always visible externally, apparently not covered with skin even in specimens 9-10 cm SL in length (Ref. 36121).
