পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ) : 10. Readily distinguished from most similar congener Diapoma terofali by having 15-18 gill rakers on the lower limb of first gill arch (vs. 11-13) and 26-33 anal-fin rays (vs. 24-27) (Ref. 86734).
