পৃষ্ঠীয় কাঁটা (মোট ) : 0; পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ) : 5 - 7; পায়ূ কাঁটা : 0; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 10 - 12; কশেরুকা : 26 - 27. Diagnosis: Small and slender species with rounded fins; dorsal fin with 5-7 rays, anal fin with 10-12 rays; scales on mid-lateral series 25-28 (Ref. 28714, 57259).

Found in pools, swamps, shallow waters and drainage ditches (Ref. 3788, 57259). Not a seasonal killifish (Ref. 27139).
